Transpire – The Director Network

Welcome to Transpire:
The Director Network

Transpire – the leading Director Network. Your bridge to Board success...

The Transpire Approach

Practical, actionable, Board Level networking Events, The Knowledge Hub, One-to-One coaching and Masterclasses, ensure senior Directors can increase Board expertise and supercharge growth in their companies and organisations.

There are talented and experienced people at the top of many companies or working as consultants who want to help other organisations benefit from their skills. There is a significant demand from businesses looking for exactly this kind of help.

The Transpire Approach is to provide the tools any Director or aspiring Director needs to be genuinely effective and to build bridges between properly qualified individuals and aspiring companies to match their mutual needs.

The benefits of Transpire Membership

Since Transpire began creating services for Directors and Trustees in 2012, the business world has experienced dramatic change. Complexity has multiplied, digital is sweeping old certainties (and companies) aside, regulation is ever-evolving and new generations of people have entered the workforce with expectations that challenge established conventions.

How do Directors navigate these uncertain waters? Our experience shows that effective Directors are open to new ideas and perspectives, believe in continuously improving themselves and their organisations, engage with sector experts and peers and challenge themselves every day.

We have built our Membership services on the idea that being a Director is a journey, not a destination. From renowned experts leading our sessions, to the quality of our networking, from the breadth and depth of our Knowledge Hub to the insights generated in 121 coaching, we have developed an offer any effective Director or aspiring Director will value.

CPD Accredited Director training

We have been delivering Continuing Professional Development (CPD) accredited Programmes and premium networking opportunities since 2015.

There are no physical Transpire Training and Networking events in Q2 but we have a full programme of online sessions. Highly regarded board leaders and experts present to and debate with session attendees on key topics relevant to every Director and NED in today’s increasingly complex world.

If you are:

  • An individual looking to develop your board career
  • A CEO/Founder of a high growth early stage business
  • On the board of a more mature business or charity
  • An investor or business incubator in search of NEDs

then Transpire’s Board training is for you. These programmes are included as part of Transpire Membership and are exclusive to Members.

The Transpire Knowledge Hub

The Transpire Knowledge Hub is an extraordinary resource for Directors and Trustees. Built up over the last eight years, it contains expert presentations, session videos, regulatory codes and articles from influential publications and is a highly valuable reference tool for any Director or Trustee.

The Knowledge Hub is divided into nine key areas:

  • Board Governance
  • Digital Transformation
  • Cyber Security
  • Diversity and Inclusion
  • Finance for Non-Financial Executives
  • The Role of the Chair
  • Pro Bono work and Giving Back
  • Board Effectiveness
  • Scale Up Board Strategy

The Knowledge Hub is exclusive to Transpire Members and part of Transpire membership.

Enhanced Member Services

No two Director journeys are the same.

Organisations want people to bring a valuable perspective to their Boards; the knowledge, skills and behaviour to ask the right questions – evaluate the appropriate strategies and strategically support the business via a broad network of business contacts, industry and sector knowledge, or even access to funding.

Transpire can help you to work-out what your “offer” is as a Director, with the ability to articulate your value clearly and succinctly – be it in the area of leadership, strategy support, change management, financial re-structuring or team culture.

One to one or small group coaching, Board CV development, support around role application and our Portfolio Optimisation Matrix are services that will enhance your Director career. They are available to all Transpire Members at an additional cost.

Testimonials

  • Tony, it was a good group so they were a joy to help.

    Bryan Foss - Non-Exec Director

  • Dear Tony,  many thanks for a great evening – enjoyed the atmosphere, discussion and the advice.

    Jane Williams - Non-Exec Director

  • This was the most brilliant session. I was also impressed by the meeting tool. Much better than anything else I tried. I really didn’t feel that I was not in the same room as the speaker. Well done.

    Cecilia Odergren - Transpire Member

  • Chair as Mentor was the best session I have attended so far. Very insightful.

    Sarah Frost - Coach/Mentor

  • The Board Assurance session I found the most useful as, really for the first time, it introduced me to the Corporate Governance Code and the FPC. I felt David Styles really brought the subject to life.

    Neil Baines Thomas - Coach/Mentor

  • Great topics of interests (plus I was on the panel) – diversity and inclusion are current topics which many organisations are failing to address properly. Some are still uncomfortable talking about the subject with faces like they are sucking lemons.

    Vivienne Aiyela - NED/Transpire Member

  • Thanks, I enjoyed last night and found it very interesting and thought-provoking. You really have got your offering just right to meet my needs, and it will be a pleasure to continue working with you.

    Cheryl Watts - Transpire Member

  • Hi Tony, It was a real pleasure to meet you on Tuesday…..you led a great session, which was thoroughly informative! Thanks so much for the introductions. Keep in touch 🙂

    Vipul Mishra - CEO/Founder - Neotas

Insightful event, well done Tony Stubbs FCA, FRSA, Sharon Critchlow FCCA, APFS, Chartered MCSI, FRSA. Many thanks to all of the speakers for a most enjoyable and informative #ESG session which was expertly hosted by Tony!
